What is Ashes of the Singularity II?

Ashes of the Singularity II is the sequel to the 2016 massive-scale RTS, developed by Oxide Games and published by Stardock Entertainment. It is set in a near future where strong AI split the solar system into three warring powers: humanity's United Earth Forces, the Post-Human Coalition, and the AI Substrate. Instead of rewarding fast clicking, the game is built around planning, logistics and terrain, with AI sub-commanders inside your armies handling unit positioning while you think like a general.

This wiki is written by players, for players. Every guide is built from saved sources: official Steam store pages and news posts, developer video journals, the official FAQ, and first-hand demo and playtest footage. Where something is confirmed we cite it; where the roster or map list is still incomplete ahead of the November 10, 2026 launch, we say so plainly instead of guessing. Nothing here claims to be official — the studio links are in the footer.
